LOPA runs on volunteers. Here's where we need help right now:

• Outreach Coordinator - Help us build membership: develop a newsletter and reach out to members and potential members. (Open - This could be you!)

• NH Lakes Advocacy Network Representative - Represent LOPA in the statewide network of lake advocates. (Filled - Thank you, Deb Delworth!)

• Meeting Host - Organize a general meeting on a topic our members care about, with a guest speaker - for example, someone from the Loon Preservation Committee, NH Lakes, or the Winnisquam Watershed Network. 

• Conservation Commission Liaison - Join us at Laconia Conservation Commission meetings (twice a month) to introduce LOPA's work and keep the conversation going. 

• Outfall Clean-up (Future) - Down the road, we're looking at organizing volunteers to help clean drainage outfalls during the lake draw-down - a great hands-on way to help the lake.
